Honorable Johnnie Cox
Attended Cassville High School; Missouri Southern State College, 1997, B.S., criminal justice admin.; University of Missouri –Kansas City, J.D. 2000. Assistant prosecuting attorney for Taney County, 2000-02. Elected Barry County prosecuting attorney in 2002, re-elected in 2006 and 2010. Married Megan Gibson in 2004 and they have three children. Elected associate circuit judge in 2014.
Circuit Clerk
Craig Williams
Craig Williams was elected Circuit Clerk of Barry County in November 2002 and began his term of office on January 1, 2003. He graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a BS in Criminal Justice Administration & an AD in Law Enforcement. Prior to elected office, Craig worked as a Deputy Juvenile Officer for Greene County & the 39th Judicial Circuit in Missouri. He became the Chief Juvenile Officer, of the 39th Circuit, in 2002. Craig is a Certified Court Manager with the National Center for State Courts and was in the inaugural class for the State of Missouri in 2009. He is currently a member of the Criminal Focus Group for SMC.
